1945 Martin O-18 Guitar
This guitar features nice Adirondack spruce top, mahogany neck and back
and sides, original brass frets, original pick guard, original tuners, what
appears to be original bridge and saddle, big sounding guitar for the size,
we've nicknamed this guitar the "Little Giant". Comes with non-original
cardboard style case.
Condition: borderline for a neck reset. The saddle has been shaved but
still has about 1/8" bone left. We're reluctant to do the neck reset because
the guitar is so original. This guitar has it's original finish, with minor surface
scratches on the top. No cracks in the top, appears to be no cracks in the
back or sides, one wear spot/surface damage close to the upper bout of the
body near the binding about a 1/4" wide by 2 1/2" long. This damage does
not affect the structural integrity of the guitar and could be fairly easily
repaired if so desired by whoever buys it.
